Pensacola Real Estate Weekly Market Update – Dec 1, 2007

Weekly Update For Residential Listings
In Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties

Unfortunately, due to problems with some MLS data, I removed the table of Pensacola real estate information from this page. However, this data is available at the following page:  Pensacola Real Estate Market Data

I hope everyone is having a great start to the Pensacola holiday season. It looks like this was the best week of the month for Pensacola home sales. And our inventory of homes also continues to drop.

A large part of that drop is that 304 homes expired or were withdrawn from the Pensacola MLS this past week. When overpriced homes come off the market, it is good for everyone. Basically, overpriced homes waste buyers’ time when searching for a good home, and waste the time of the sellers and their agents. Less overpriced homes mean the great deals are easier to find because there are fewer listings to sort through. If you are not a homeowner, you should be looking for a home in Pensacola now. There are lots of great buys out there.

– The table shows the weekly market data for Pensacola residential property.
– These numbers include only residential homes and condominiums in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties that are listed in the Pensacola MLS.
– They do not include vacant land or lots, mobile homes or manufactured homes or FSBOs.
– The numbers above are created using data from the Pensacola MLS and are deemed reliable but not guaranteed

I am betting the market will start coming back after the holidays. I can feel it in my bones. We are at the bottom of the valley!
