After finishing high school, Marchildon pursued her dream of becoming a model. She enrolled in a modeling agency and began taking modeling classes to hone her skills.

Despite rejection initially, Marchildon continued to work hard and eventually got her big break in the modeling industry.

Career

Marchildon’s big break came in 2008 when she competed in and won the second season of “Holland’s Next Top Model.”

Marchildon impressed the judges with her unique look and striking features and went on to win the competition. She was awarded a modeling contract and a cash prize of €75,000.

However, things turned for the worse when Marchildon discovered that her contract had a clause stating that she needed to get her teeth fixed, which was not part of the initial agreement. Marchildon refused to get her teeth fixed, and as a result, the agency terminated her contract.

Legal Battle

The termination of her contract led Marchildon to file a lawsuit against the modeling agency, claiming that the clause in her contract was unfair and that she was entitled to her prize money.

The case went to court, and in 2012, the judge ruled in Marchildon’s favor, stating that the agency had acted unfairly and that Marchildon was entitled to her prize money.
