Biography

Austin Harris Mahone (born 4 April 1996), addressed professionally as Austin Mahone, is a gifted singer, songwriter and internet personality from the United States.

The story of his rise from untalented nobody to YouTube sensation to teen pop idol has all the elements of a modern fairytale. Due to his talent, a young man from La Vernia, which lacks both bowling alleys and movie theaters, overcomes the odds and becomes well-known throughout the world.

That sounds a little bit unbelievable, don’t you think? But when you are as wonderfully skilled as this young man is, very little looks improbable. Austin Mahone, one of the most in-demand young musicians right now, is followed and photographed everywhere he goes. Career

In 2010, Austin Mahone started routinely posting on YouTube, where he eventually gained a following thanks to several amusing sketches and skillful song covers. The turning point in his career came when he sang a hugely popular copy of Justin Bieber‘s Mistletoe. This was because it thrust him into the limelight.

Before inking a record deal, Austin Mahone, who some have labeled the next Justin Bieber, soared to No. 38 on the “Billboard Social 50” chart, which lists singers based on how popular they are on social networking. But there were problems with the popularity boom. Austin Mahone was forced to drop out of high school because fame greatly limited his ability to continue his education. His mother eventually resigned from her career as a mortgage banker to balance homeschooling her kid and managing his profession.

Before reaching the pinnacle of his career, Austin Mahone experienced the ultimate fanboy encounter when he met his idol, Taylor Swift, at a Nashville coffee shop. Taylor Swift urged him to keep up the excellent work and never give up on his dream. A year later, in 2013, the young starlet was one of Taylor Swift‘s opening acts on her Red Tour! If that isn’t meteoric, we don’t know what else to term that rise!

Unlike many other internet musical sensations who end there, Austin Mahone didn’t stop at YouTube; it was just the beginning of bigger things. He began holding local performances and concerts by the end of 2011, and a committed group of fans known as Mahomies encouraged him in each packed venue.

“11:11,” Austin Mahone‘s debut single, reached its highest position of No. 19 on the Billboard Heatseekers music chart in 2012 after being made available on iTunes. Record labels were going to start calling as the fan base continued to expand and collected millions of followers across all social media platforms.

In the middle of 2012, Austin Mahone signed a contract with Chase/Universal Republic Records, and his second song, Say Somethin, became a single. The third year was about establishing this newfound popularity, whereas the first two years were about a career that was gradually peaking; thus, the best was still to come.

The assault kept going after that. Austin Mahone‘s well-known song, What About Love, won him the Artist To Watch For Award at the MTV Video Music Awards that same year. In October 2013, he launched the MTV Artist To Watch Tour, his first-ever headline tour.

The Secret, Austin Mahone‘s second EP, debuted at an incredible No. 5 on the Billboard 200 when it was published in May 2014. Austin Mahone sent his fans a mixtape for Christmas after the success of his most recent hit, Dirty Work and collaborated with the Jump Smokers and Pia Mia.
