Early Life And Education.

Carlo Ancelotti was born on June 10, 1959, in Reggiolo, Italy, a small town known for its agricultural industry. Growing up, he was surrounded by football and often played with friends, showcasing his talent from a young age.

He joined the local youth team A.C. Reggiolo at 14 and continued to impress as a midfielder. At the age of 16, Ancelotti transferred to Parma Calcio in 1913, marking the start of his professional football career. While details about his formal academic education are limited, it is safe to say that his primary focus was on football.

He likely received basic education in Reggiolo, but his passion for the sport took precedence. Through his footballing career, Ancelotti gained practical education in teamwork, strategy, leadership, and communication – skills that would prove crucial for his future success as a manager. He later acquired the necessary coaching licenses and certifications to manage professional teams.

He grew up in a loving household, with his parents, Giuseppe Ancelotti and Angela Ancelotti. They instilled strong values and a strong work ethic in him, which has contributed to his successful career. He also has a sister, Angela Ancelotti, whom he remains close with to this day.

Career

Carlo Ancelotti is widely known for his successful managerial career, his time as a player should not be overlooked. From 1976 to 1992, Ancelotti played as a midfielder for Parma, Roma, and Milan, winning multiple titles and achieving success at both the domestic and international levels.

He also represented Italy in two World Cups and the 1988 Euros, solidifying his place as a top player in the world of football. His impressive playing career laid the foundation for his future success as a coach.

Contradicting his early promise, the manager faced struggles during his time with the Italian national team, Reggiana, Parma, and Juventus. However, he quickly turned things around during his tenure with AC Milan from 2001 to 2009, where he achieved immense success by winning two UEFA Champions League titles (2003, 2007) and one Serie A title (2004).

He was also recognized as Serie A Coach of the Year twice during this period. Despite his impressive track record, his time with Chelsea was met with mixed results as he became the first Italian manager to win the Premier League in 2010 but was unable to secure another league title in the following seasons.

He did, however, secure the FA Cup for Chelsea in the same year, completing a historic double. The manager went on to manage other top European clubs such as PSG, Real Madrid (twice), Bayern Munich, Napoli, and Everton, collecting trophies in each league. He currently coaches Real Madrid for the second time, already winning the La Liga title in his first season (2021-2022).
