Early Life

In 2012, Clementine Creevy, a 15-year-old vocalist and guitarist, launched Cherry Glazerr as Clembutt, a solo project in which she wrote, performed, and uploaded a small catalog of songs to SoundCloud.

Sean Bohrman, co-founder of Burger Records, discovered and released the tracks in 2013 as the Papa Cremp tape.

In 2013, Creevy was joined on drums and vocals by high school friends Hannah Uribe and Sophia Muller and bassist Sean Redman. Chery Glaser, an NPR reporter, inspired the band’s name.

Glazerr made their debut in 2013 with several notable bands and festival scenes, including SXSW, Beach Goth, at the El Rey with Mikal Cronin and Redd Kross, and alongside Fidlar at Burger Records’ annual Burgerama festival, where fashion icon Hedi Slimane noticed them.

Career

Burger Records released the band’s debut album, Haxel Princess, in 2014. Apocalipstick, their second album, was released in 2017 by Secretly Canadian. Stuffed & Ready, their third album, was released on the same label in 2019.

Cherry Glazerr has embarked on multiple tours during its outstanding history, gracing venues worldwide and mesmerizing audiences with its spectacular performances. Along the way, they’ve shared the stage with renowned acts such as Foster the People, Slowdive, and Portugal. The Man and The Breeders cement their place as a force to be reckoned with.

Furthermore, their brilliance has earned them coveted spots at prestigious festivals such as Coachella, Pitchfork Fest, and FYF Fest, which have left an indelible effect on music fans from all walks of life.

In 2016, the band underwent a huge change when their bassist, Taylor Redman, decided to depart to focus on his engagement with another band called The Buttertones.

However, the vacuum created by Redman’s departure was quickly filled the following year, in 2017, when Devin O’Brien joined the band as the new bassist.

Cherry Glazerr has continuously produced new songs and embarked on tours since 2019. They are now working on their fourth studio album, “Tourist,” which will be released in 2023 and is expected to fascinate audiences.

This continual commitment to their craft demonstrates Cherry Glazerr’s dedication to their musical journey and desire to connect with fans through their fascinating sound.
