Early Life & Education

Christine Weston Chandler, better known as Chris Chan, is currently at the age of 41 and was born on February 24, 1982, in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA.

She is the youngest child of Robert Franklin Chandler Jr., an electrical engineer, and Barbara Anne Weston, a former Virginia Power’s secretary. She has two half-brother Cole Smithey, David Alan Chandler, and one half-sister, Carol Sue Chandler, from her father’s previous marriages.

Her father was 54 when she was born, while her mother was 40. She grew up in Ruckersville, Virginia, where she lived in a house her father built. She has mixed ancestry and has English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, French, and Cherokee roots.

Chris started her education at Greene County Primary School. Then, in grade four, she transferred to Nathanael Greene Elementary School.

However, she had a traumatic experience there, as her classmates and teachers bullied her for being different. She also had autism, which made it hard for her to socialize and learn.

Her parents decided to homeschool her for grade five, hoping to improve her situation. However, she later returned to public school, attending Providence Middle School, where she graduated in 1996.

She then went to Manchester High School, where she continued to face harassment and isolation. She graduated in 2000 with a low GPA and poor SAT scores.

Chris enrolled in Piedmont Virginia Community College in 2000, studying Computer Aided Drafting and Design. She hoped to become a video game designer or a comic book artist.

She created her first Sonichu comic in 2004 as part of a class project. She also participated in various activities and clubs, such as the anime club, the gaming club, and the PVCC Student Council. She graduated in 2006 with an associate degree in science.

Personal Life

In 2014, Chris came out as a transgender woman, changing her name from Christopher to Christine and adopting female pronouns. She claimed that she had a female soul trapped in a male body and that she was a lesbian.

She also claimed she was a goddess and the creator of a fictional dimension called C-197, where her Sonichu and other fictional characters live.

She began to dress in feminine clothing, wear makeup, and grow out her hair. She also attempted to undergo hormone therapy and surgery, but she faced financial and legal obstacles.

Chris has no children but considers her Sonichu characters her offspring. She has also claimed to have given birth to several other characters, such as Magi-Chan, Crystal, and Reginald. She has also claimed to have married some fictional characters, such as Magi-Chan, Mewtwo, and Cryzel.

Chris lives with her mother, Barbara, who is 81 years old as of 2023. Her father, Robert, died in 2011 from heart failure. Chris has a strained relationship with her mother, who has been abusive, neglectful, and manipulative towards her.

She has also been accused of exploiting her mother’s dementia and social security benefits. In July 2021, Chris was arrested for incst after she admitted to having a sexual relationship with her mother in a leaked phone call. She awaits trial and faces up to 12 years in prison if convicted.
