Drake's Dad Claims Rappers Spark Beef for Sales Boost
Matthew Alvarez
Dennis Graham, proud pops of rap icon Drake, dropped a bombshell about the music biz’s sneaky tactics to climb the charts.
Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, Graham laid out a shocking plan involving Drake and his rapper buddies. He suggested stirring up fake feuds with Drake and unfollowing him on socials to skyrocket his music sales to the top spot.
His post read, “Yo I am about to drop some new music and I am not sure if it’s going to sell, But I am going to call some of my homies and get them start a beef with Drake and get them to unfollow him and that’s going make my s**t shoot up to number 1, I’m sure this is going to work so let me get some people on board for this and watch what kind of attention this gets!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE NUMBER ONE 1 Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!“
The bombshell has lit up social media, sparking debates on the authenticity of rap rivalries and the lengths artists may go to for chart success. While friendly competition is nothing new, Graham‘s claims hint at a darker side, where manufactured drama is used to sell records.
Drake, staying mum for now, has yet to respond to his dad’s post. But the bombshell has everyone talking, and it has people questioning the music industry’s integrity and the pressure on artists to stay on top.
