Our beloved Instagram influencer and Nigerian content creator, Kuye Adegoke, affectionately known as Egungun of Lagos, traded in his usual reviews for a heartwarming proposal to his sweetheart, Pashotah.

Surrounded by friends and colleagues, Egungun took a nervous yet determined step forward, dropping to one knee to ask for his beloved’s hand in marriage. With a gleaming diamond ring, he poured out his love and commitment in a moment that will be cherished forever.

But amid his heartfelt gesture, Egungun, perhaps overcome with emotion, momentarily forgot the classic proposal line. Luckily, a quick-witted friend nudged him in the right direction, and with a beaming smile, he slid the ring onto his girlfriend’s finger, sealing their love with a promise of forever.

The internet erupted with joy as the engagement video made the rounds, with fans and followers showering the couple with congratulations and good wishes. While some couldn’t help but comment on Egungun‘s surprising choice, others admired the genuine love and connection shared between the two.

Among the flood of reactions, one fan praised Egungun‘s calm and respectful demeanor, foreseeing a bright future for the couple. Another couldn’t resist poking fun at the contrast between the natural beauty of the wedding guests and the more artificial aesthetic often seen elsewhere.

Amidst the laughter and celebrations, one commenter playfully pointed out Egungun’s slip-up during the proposal, while another highlighted the couple’s embrace of authenticity and natural beauty in their relationship.
