Andrew Thornton
On Monday, January 1, 2024, Nigerian singer Fave voiced her disappointment via social media after Davido performed their collaborative track Kante from his album Timeless without her on stage.
The Baby Riddim artist took to her social media platform to express her sentiments, revealing that she had been backstage with Davido before his performance, eagerly anticipating a joint appearance on stage. Fave expressed that starting the new year with a collaborative performance alongside Davido would have been the perfect way to kick off 2024.
In her social media post, she wrote, “Begun my new years with such a huge gag lol hugging Davido backstage as he’s about to perform, to watching him perform Kante in a new version with my verse taken off. Performing with you would have been a good way to start my year, but I guess life happens. Happy nu year.”
The revelation sparked discussions across various social media platforms, with some users recalling Fave‘s earlier performance of the same song with Davido in front of a massive audience of 20,000 during the singer’s 2023 concert.
