Finidi George To Take Charge of Super Eagles in High-Stakes Friendlies
Andrew Thornton
Exciting news for Super Eagles fans! The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has just announced that Finidi George will be stepping up to the plate to lead our national team in their upcoming friendly matches against Ghana and Mali during the international break.
After bidding farewell to former coach Jose Peseiro, who completed his tenure on February 29, the Super Eagles needed a manager. The NFF called for applications to fill the vacant position, but it seems they’ve found an interim solution in Finidi George.
In a recent post on the verified Super Eagles’ social media handle, we got a sneak peek of Finidi in action, deep in discussion with team officials. The caption accompanying the photo read: “Coach George Finidi has held a meeting with Super Eagles team officials as he leads the Super Eagles in international friendlies against Ghana and Mali #SoarSuperEagles.”
It’s an exciting development for our beloved team as they gear up to face tough opponents under Finidi George‘s guidance. With these important matches on the horizon, fans can’t wait to see how the Super Eagles will perform under their new interim coach. Let’s rally behind our team and wish them the best of luck!
