Early Life And Education

His twin brother, Wyatt, is also a punk singer. The two brothers were raised in a musical family, with their father being a member of a punk band and their mother being a hairstylist who occasionally joins him on stage.

Career

Fletcher Shears and his brother Wyatt grew up surrounded by music. Their father was a musician who often took them to his performances.

This early exposure sparked their love for music, and they formed their first band, Alert, in fifth grade.

They continued to pursue their passion for music, and after completing their education, they formed The Gardens.

Since 2011, the band has gained global recognition and popularity. It is worth noting that Fletcher plays the drums in the band while his brother sings and plays the guitar.

Fletcher Shears’ style of music is truly one of a kind, incorporating diverse elements that define their artistic expression.

This is why the twins, who make up the band The Garden, coined the term “VadaVada” to describe their genre.

In an interview with Into The Gloss, Fletcher’s brother Wyatt explained the term as “an idea that represents pure creative expression, that disregards all previously made genres and ideals.”

This unique and boundary-pushing approach to music makes The Garden and its VadaVada genre stand out in the industry.
