The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently conducted the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 2024, with thousands of candidates across Nigeria participating in the exams. As anticipation mounts for releasing the UTME results, many candidates are eager to know how to check their performance.

JAMB is reviewing the details of the UTME conducted, ensuring that all necessary screenings are completed before officially releasing the results. While the results have yet to be announced as of Monday afternoon, April 22, candidates can expect them to be available soon.

For candidates eager to access their UTME results as soon as they are released, the official JAMB website serves as the primary platform for checking results and printing result slips. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide on how to check your UTME results online:

1. Go to the JAMB eFacility Portal: Open a web browser on your phone or laptop and visit JAMB’s eFacility portal at
2. Enter your login details: Provide the email address and password you used during registration to access your JAMB profile.
3. Access your results: After entering your login details, click the “Check UTME Results” button. If your UTME results have been released, your scores for each subject tested will be displayed on the screen.

In addition to checking results online, candidates can also opt to receive their UTME results via SMS. To do this, simply send UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019 from the phone number used for registration during the UTME registration process. After sending the message, you will receive your results via SMS.

While candidates eagerly await the release of their UTME results, JAMB has assured that the first batch of results will be out “any moment soon.” The examination body works diligently to ensure all necessary procedures are followed before officially announcing the results.

As candidates await their UTME results, it is important to remain patient and optimistic. Whether checking results online or via SMS, candidates can look forward to receiving their performance feedback and taking the next steps in their academic journey.
