Career

Bon Jovi began his music career in the early 1980s by performing in different bands in New Jersey.

In 1983, he founded Bon Jovi alongside guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, bassist Alec John Such, and drummer Tico Torres.

Their first album, “Bon Jovi,” was released in 1984 and included popular tracks like “Runaway” and “You Give Love a Bad Name.“

The band’s second album, “7800° Fahrenheit,” came out in 1985 and achieved even greater success than their debut, featuring hits like “Livin‘ on a Prayer” and “Wanted Dead or Alive” that launched them into stardom.

Bon Jovi enjoyed many successful albums in the 1980s and 1990s, with hits like Slippery When Wet, New Jersey, Keep the Faith, and These Days.

They toured widely during this period, performing to packed audiences worldwide. In the 2000s, the band continued to release music and tour, though their commercial success dipped.

Nevertheless, they remained a beloved live act and had hits with songs like “It’s My Life” and “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.”
