During an insightful interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, seasoned Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw shared her perspective on renowned Nigerian singer Davido. In a surprising revelation, she admitted to being a fan of Davido‘s music but not of the artist himself, citing an incident where she felt disrespected.

Henshaw recounted an encounter with Davido at an event, alleging that the singer did not exchange pleasantries with her. While acknowledging Davido‘s substantial contributions to the Nigerian music scene and his philanthropic efforts, Henshaw underscored the significance of respect in personal interactions.

“I’m not a fan of Davido. I like his music, but I’m not a fan personally. I don’t know him. I have met him; he didn’t greet me. I’m not sorry; I believe he should be respectful,” expressed Henshaw during the interview.

The actress emphasized the role of personality in forming connections and highlighted the importance of public figures displaying respect in their engagements. Despite recognizing Davido‘s admirable acts, including generous donations and unapologetic representation of Nigeria on the global stage, Henshaw stressed the crucial need for respectful behaviour.

Henshaw‘s candid revelation introduces a personal dimension to the public perception of celebrities, shedding light on the impact of individual interactions beyond talent and achievements.
