Career

Ko-c, also fondly called Kocee, kicked off his music journey by crafting tunes and sharing them with pals for feedback. It all began with his debut track, Town Player, penned at the age of 20, marking the start of his musical adventure.

Joining the group PIM Boys in 2015 under the banner of BTS Empire, a US-based label owned by Valo Valery, seemed like the big break, but alas, the group disbanded that very year. Nonetheless, Ko-c‘s solo career took flight in 2016 when Rawget Music took notice and dropped his solo debut, Balancé.

Despite the norm of in-person collaborations, Kocee‘s success showcased the potential of remote work in music. Another milestone came when Nigeria’s Super Eagles adopted his track Credit Alert, featuring Patoranking, as their anthem after besting the Ghana Black Stars 2-1 in March 2024.

Though flourishing under Big Dreams Entertainment, Kocee ventured solo in 2020, founding Power House Entertainment for greater creative control. Amidst his Big Dreams stint, Ko-c churned out hits and collaborated with A-listers like Ténor and Locko, solidifying his spot among Cameroon’s musical elite.
