In a recent episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, popular Nollywood actress and media personality Moet Abebe opened up about her single status at age 34, citing her frustration with men and their perceived lack of sense as the primary reason for her relationship struggles.

The revelation came during a discussion with Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong, who had known Moet for six years. When questioned about her single status, she candidly expressed her reservations about men, emphasizing her struggle to find a “sensible man.” Moet says her experience with men has been a major deterrent to settling down.

However, the disclosure sparked a range of reactions on Twitter, with some users expressing concern and suggesting that Moet might be going through a challenging time, possibly facing depression. Others criticized her for making such statements and questioned her approach to relationships.

Despite the mixed reactions, some Twitter users reminisced about Moet Abebe‘s earlier years as a vibrant and energetic Sound City pioneer OAP, expressing appreciation for her talent and her positive impact on their lives.

Moet‘s remarks also fueled debates about societal expectations regarding age, relationships, and the pressure individuals, especially women, face when they deviate from conventional timelines.

As discussions unfold online, it remains to be seen how Moet Abebe‘s revelations will influence perceptions and conversations about relationships, age, and societal expectations in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
