In a shocking turn of events, the prime suspects implicated in the tragic death of Nigerian singer Mohbad are making public appearances, leaving many in disbelief and raising questions about the pursuit of justice in the case.

Despite the ongoing investigation and the fact that Mohbad‘s burial is yet to take place, the accused individuals, including Sam Larry and Naira Marley, were seen in a video sharing food items with the less privileged. This unexpected act of charity has sparked outrage, with critics expressing their disbelief and frustration over the seeming lack of accountability.

The public appearance of the accused individuals has fueled the narrative that justice in Nigeria is often elusive, especially when influential figures are involved. The fact that the suspects engage in charity activities instead of addressing the allegations against them has further intensified the public’s skepticism.

Critics have pointed out that, rather than taking responsibility or offering apologies to Mohbad‘s family, the accused are attempting to rebrand themselves through charitable acts. The question of justice for Mohbad remains at the forefront of public discourse, with concerns about the family’s focus on property disputes rather than seeking justice for the deceased.

Additionally, there are calls for the retrieval of Mohbad‘s music catalog from Marlian Records to ensure that his alleged assailants do not continue profiting from his work. However, the prevailing focus on finger-pointing and accusations within the public sphere diverts attention from the core issue of seeking justice for the late artist.

As Nigerians grapple with the complexities surrounding Mohbad‘s tragic end, the saga unfolds with a backdrop of skepticism and frustration over the perceived shortcomings in the pursuit of justice.
