Career

The group had a huge hit with their debut single, “Pure and Simple,” which sold over a million copies and became the fastest-selling debut single in UK history.

They also released Popstars and Everybody albums, reaching number one on the UK charts. However, the group faced a backlash from the public and the media, who criticized their manufactured image and lack of originality.

They also had internal conflicts and disagreements, leading to Kym Marsh’s departure in 2002. The group tried to continue with a new member, Johnny Shentall, but they failed to replicate their initial success and disbanded in 2003.

Klass then embarked on a solo career in classical crossover music, which combined classical elements with pop and rock influences.

She signed a five-album deal with Universal Classics and Jazz and released her first album, Moving On, in 2003.

The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number two on the classical charts and 32 on the UK charts. It also earned her a nomination for the Classical BRIT Award for Album of the Year.

She followed it up with her second album, Myleene’s Music for Romance, in 2007, which also topped the classical charts and reached number 43 on the UK charts.

She also performed at various events and venues, such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Classical BRIT Awards, the Live 8, and the Nobel Peace Prize concert.
