A Nigerian musician, Naira Marley, embroiled in various controversies, has surprised fans by releasing two new singles titled Wahala and OMO (On My Own). The Marlian record boss unveiled the tracks on the 29th of the month, marking a significant musical move following a relatively quiet period this year, especially since the tragic death of his former signee, Mohbad.

Netizens have reacted quickly to the release, flooding Naira Marley‘s Instagram handle, where he shared a snippet of the songs. The controversial artist wrote in his post, “Wahala out now; go listen for Marlians only.”

Naira Marley‘s recent history has been marked by controversy and speculation surrounding his connection to the untimely demise of the fast-rising musician Mohbad. This has led to increased scrutiny and criticism, with the artist even restricting comments on his social media handles for a period.

In a notable shift, less than five hours after dropping the new singles, Naira Marley engaged with fans on his timeline, retweeting positive reactions and comments. Fans expressed their excitement and appreciation for the artist’s musical style, with one fan noting that On My Own reflects the Naira Marley they fell in love with.

However, some individuals voiced their disapproval and concerns amidst the positive feedback. One commenter warned, “You go kpai very soon,” while another expressed a more severe sentiment, stating, “No remorse, no conscience, or nothing whatsoever!!! Mohbad‘s spirit will hunt you forever.”

Naira Marley‘s return to social media engagement and the release of new music adds another layer to the ongoing narrative surrounding the artist, leaving fans and critics eager to see how these developments will shape his future in the industry.
