Early Life

Phillip Kayode Moses, popularly known as Pheelz, was born on June 5, 1995, hailing from the illustrious Yoruba tribe. He spent most of his life in Lagos’ Ojo neighbourhood, where he developed a love for music that would carry him to stardom. He is a native of Ogun State.

Despite his fame, he has maintained a level of privacy about his family, a rarity in the entertainment industry where family is often put on full display.

Pheelz began his journey in music production, and in 2012, his hard work paid off when he produced the hit tracks First of All and Fucking with the Devil for the YBNL album, which skyrocketed to the top of the music charts. The songs were acclaimed by fans in Nigeria and beyond, and his talent was quickly recognized.

Career

Pheelz, a Nigerian music producer, started his music production journey at a young age while still in high school. He was a natural talent and dabbled with music production on the side long before he became a prominent figure in the Nigerian music industry.

It wasn’t until he landed a job at the prestigious Coded Tunes studio of renowned producer ID Cabasa that he came to the attention of important people. There, he met Olamide, the founder of YBNL, and began his journey as a music producer. With his talent and dedication, he quickly rose to fame, becoming a recognized figure in the industry.

Over the years, Pheelz has produced music for artists such as M.I. Abaga, Runtown, and Seyi Shay, receiving critical acclaim and recognition for his production abilities. His name has become a household name throughout Nigeria, and his music production prowess is widely admired.

As for his record label, Pheelz has found his home with Riidiimacool and Warner Records US. These labels gave him the platform to showcase his talent and helped him pursue music production excellence.

Pheelz‘s further rise to stardom in the Nigerian music industry is partly attributed to his hit single Finesse, featuring BNXN (formerly Buju). In this track, he doesn’t deviate much from his signature style, delivering the same high-quality production he is known for. The song doesn’t necessarily stand out as extraordinary, but it is still a solid record demonstrating his musical expertise. BNXN‘s smooth flow on Finesse is a treat for the ears, as the talented singer has already garnered national attention with his numerous hit features. However, Pheelz deserves significant credit for the captivating melody that underlies the entire track.

Interestingly, Finesse was created serendipitously. Pheelz had initially teamed up with fast-rising producer Miichkel to produce the banger, and a snippet of it was shared on social media in early February. When BNXN saw the video clip, he requested to be featured on the track. Two weeks later, another snippet of the song was released, with BNXN singing a part of his verse leading up to the catchy chorus. Before the song’s official release, the chorus had already spawned a viral trend on TikTok known as the #FolakeChallenge, which flooded the platform with people singing along to the chorus: “If I broke na my business, Folake for the night o!”

Personal Life

When men become famous, it’s not uncommon to find a bevy of women flocking around them. Some guys prefer to keep their love lives away from the public eye, while others relish the attention of flaunting their partners. Pheelz falls into the latter group.

But when it comes to the identity of his significant other, Pheelz is a master of keeping his private life just that, personal. It’s as if he has created an impregnable fortress around his romantic affairs, leaving no room for prying eyes or curious minds. Whether he is in a committed relationship, married, or still playing the field remains a mystery.

Pheelz may believe that some things are better left unsaid or that the public scrutiny that comes with fame can be detrimental to a relationship. Whatever his reasons, one thing is certain – he has managed to keep his love life under lock and key, away from the ever-watchful eyes of the media and his adoring fans.

Net Worth

When it comes to talented musicians with solid support systems, they can rake in some serious dough, resulting in impressive net worths. However, Pheelz remains tight-lipped on the matter, making it difficult to discern his net worth. But as usual, his fans and curious onlookers have taken points into their own hands.

Various sources believe that Pheelz‘s estimated net worth stands at a cool $1 million, a pretty penny by Nigerian standards. Of course, the actual figure could be more or less, but it’s clear that he is doing well in the music industry.
