Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden, 23, and his partner Rebecca Cooke, 22, are expecting their third child together, the couple has confirmed.

The duo celebrated the joyful news with a lavish baby shower at Stockport Country Football Club in Manchester over the weekend. Pictures shared on their five-year-old son Ronnie Foden‘s official Instagram account showcased the proud parents-to-be posing with Ronnie and their one-year-old daughter True Foden. The backdrop featured a large blue and white balloon arch and LED letters spelling out “Baby Foden.”

Although the gender of their unborn baby remains undisclosed, the celebration had a distinct blue and white theme, possibly hinting at the couple’s preferred team colors or suggesting it’s a boy.

Guests at the event were treated to a delightful spread, including a blue chocolate fountain, a themed cake, donuts, cupcakes with blue icing, teddy bear cookies, and a cart labeled “Baby Foden” filled with jars of assorted sweets.

The couple enlisted the expertise of renowned celebrity party planner Steph Ledigo and her team at GOPR and Events, who ensured the event was spectacular.

Expressing gratitude on Instagram, the party planners thanked Rebecca for entrusting them with the special occasion, to which Phil responded with appreciation for their beautiful work.

Phil Foden and Rebecca Cooke, both hailing from Stockport, reportedly met at a party. Phil became a father for the first time at 18 when Ronnie was born in 2019. In 2021, he announced Rebecca’s second pregnancy, making him a father for the second time at the age of 20.
