Career
Rodri‘s tale took a notable twist on May 24, 2018, when he returned to the embrace of Atlético Madrid after a deft deal with Villarreal. The deal, a symphony of negotiations, saw Rodri penning a five-year contract with the Madrid team, the notes of which were composed of €20 million, with an additional €5 million harmonizing based on specific variables.

Fast forward to July 3, 2019, and the Manchester City symphony swelled to a staggering £62.6 million, hitting the crescendo of Rodri‘s release clause. With this, his Atlético movement concluded, and a new movement began with Manchester City, composed of a five-year agreement.
The harmony continued at the 2019 FA Community Shield on August 4, with Rodri playing a pivotal role in the Wembley Stadium spectacle, where Manchester City’s music blended beautifully with Liverpool’s, culminating in a one-all harmony.
