Nigerian singer May D finds himself at the center of a social media storm after being called out by a lady over an alleged unpaid debt of N11,000. The controversy unfolded when the lady, who works at a hotel, accused May D of leaving the establishment without settling his bill after partying with his friend.

The aggrieved lady took to social media to express her frustration. She questioned May D‘s financial situation and suggested that he must be facing severe financial constraints to evade such a seemingly small debt. She didn’t mince her words, labeling the artist as “shameless” for his actions.

To fuel the fire, May D responded to the accusations, admitting that he owed the money and attributing it to his financial difficulties. His candid acknowledgment of the debt only fueled speculation about his financial status and lifestyle choices.

The incident has sparked a heated debate online, with many expressing disbelief that a celebrity of May D‘s stature would be embroiled in such a petty dispute over money. Some have criticized the singer for living beyond his means, while others have come to his defense, citing the challenges faced by artists in the music industry.
