Popular socialite Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, has vehemently denied any involvement in a car accident. Reports surfaced in various media outlets suggesting that the prominent show promoter and his family had been in a vehicular collision on Saturday night.

Swiftly addressing these rumors in the early hours of Sunday, Sam Larry took to his social media platforms to set the record straight. He clarified that he and his family had gone out, but they returned home safely, contrary to the alarming reports.

Labeling the rumors as “fake news,” Sam Larry asserted that they were concocted by malicious individuals to tarnish his reputation. In a statement posted on his Instagram page, he stated, “I, Sam Larry, want to use this platform to debunk the false information spreading online about my involvement in an accident. Both my family and I are perfectly fine; we spent the day together and even went out for dinner, returning home safely.“

Expressing gratitude for the concern of friends and family, Sam Larry urged the public to disregard any further online claims about him. He emphasized his resilience in the face of such unfounded accusations, entrusting matters to divine judgment. He concluded his statement by wishing blessings upon his home and cautioning those behind the spread of falsehoods.

This recent debunking follows previous controversies surrounding Sam Larry, notably his involvement in an altercation with the late singer Mohbad. Months ago, he made headlines for alleged bullying of the artist during a video shoot. Sam Larry, alongside Naira Marley and two others, faced legal proceedings over their connection to circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death. Despite a period of detention, they were eventually granted bail.

In light of the recent car accident rumors, Sam Larry’s prompt denial aims to quell misinformation while reaffirming his commitment to integrity amidst turbulent times.
