Personal Life
Wanda Nara‘s personal life has been quite the rollercoaster. She married Maxi López, a former Argentine footballer, from 2008 to 2013. However, the marriage hit the rocks as Maxi López accused her of adultery and repeated infidelity, ultimately leading to their divorce.
Although Wanda Nara was cleared of charges of harassment against their governess, the public recognized her as having been wronged. The ex-couple shares three children, Valentino López, born in 2009; Constantino López, born in 2010; and Benedicto López, born in 2012, respectively.
After the divorce, Wanda Nara returned to her homeland, Buenos Aires, and started seeing Mauro Icardi, her current partner. The lovebirds initially met when Mauro Icardi was playing for Maxi López‘s football team in 2012-2013 Serie A, which eventually led to an uncomfortable moment between them in a 2014 Serie A match – famously dubbed the Wanda Derby – when Maxi López refused to shake hands with his former teammate.
Subsequently, Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi took their relationship to the next level and tied the knot in May 2014. The couple has since been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Francesca Icardi and Isabella Icardi. On top of being a dedicated partner and mother, she is also Mauro Icardi‘s football agent, known for revolutionizing the way clubs and players interact in the transfer market.
However, things took a dramatic turn when Wanda Nara posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story on October 16, 2021, seemingly referencing her husband, Mauro Icardi. The message suggested someone had “destroyed another family for a tramp.” The day after, she left Paris for Milan with her five children but eventually reconciled with Mauro Icardi.
Wanda Nara and the kids returned to live with him, and everything seemed back on track. However, a year later, she announced the end of their marriage through Instagram Stories, leaving fans shocked and puzzled about the couple’s future.
Career
Wanda Nara is not just a football agent and social media influencer but also a multi-talented artist who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Her journey in showbiz began with her performance as a vedette in the theater show King Corona by Jorge Corona in the 2006-2007 season. However, her stint was cut short after two months due to allegations of abuse from the comedian and his wife.
Despite this setback, Wanda Nara‘s popularity soared in gossip magazines, leading to her signing with Showmatch for Patinando por un sueño, showcasing her talent from August-December 2007. Her star continued to shine, and she succeeded as a contestant in El musical de tus sueños in late 2009, and later in May 2011, she joined Bailando 2011. However, she had to leave the show to move to Italy with her then-husband, Maxi López, and her sister Zaira Nara replaced her.
But Wanda Nara‘s talent and charisma couldn’t be contained by borders, and she became a co-presenter, showgirl, and opinionist for Tiki Taka – Il calcio è il nostro gioco, Mediaset‘s late-night sports talk show. The show aired from 2018 to 2020 on Italia 1 and Canale 5, and her presence added to the show’s charm and popularity.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unforeseen changes, and Wanda Nara and Pierluigi Pardo had to be replaced by Piero Chiambretti in March 2020. Her love for the screen continued, and she participated in the fourth season of Grande Fratello VIP as an opinionist with Pupo. In September 2022, she proved her versatility again and became one of the four panelists in the first season of the Argentine talent show, ¿Quién es la máscara?.
