A Nigerian actor and singer, Yhemo Lee, publicly apologized to content creator Lawal Nasiru, popularly known as Nasboi, following a recent derogatory remark by Yhemo during a podcast appearance.

The incident unfolded when Yhemo appeared on Isbae U‘s podcast and disparaged Nasboi‘s venture into music, suggesting he lacked the voice to be a “good musician.”

In response, Nasboi expressed disappointment in Yhemo‘s comments, emphasizing his respect for the actor and denouncing any assumption that it was a publicity stunt.

Facing backlash from fans and the public, Yhemo Lee contacted Nasboi on social media to extend an apology. In his message, Yhemo acknowledged their mutual respect, highlighted his support for Nasboi‘s craft, and clarified that the podcast banter was meant in a sarcastic, bantering, and humorous context.

Yhemo Lee stated, “I love your music. As a matter of fact, I did help share it on my socials as well. I enjoy it at my workplace, and I mentioned in the same video with Bae U how much of a beautiful song it is. Forgive my ignorance.”

The actor emphasized that the comments were not made out of disrespect or resentment, expressing regret over any offense caused. He concluded the message by assuring Nasboi that such remarks would not repeat in the future.

Nasboi has not publicly responded to the apology, and fans are keenly watching for developments in this ongoing social media interaction.
