Personal Life

Helena Seger met Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2002 while living in Malmo, a city in southern Sweden.

She was a marketing manager for a Swedish company, and he was playing for Malmo FF, a local football club. They crossed paths at a car park, where she was annoyed by his Ferrari blocking her way.

Her beauty and confidence attracted him, and he asked for her phone number. She initially rejected him, thinking he was arrogant and immature, but he persisted and eventually won her over. They started dating and soon fell in love.

Their relationship faced many challenges, as they had to deal with the media attention, the age difference (she is 11 years older than him), and the cultural differences (she is Swedish and he is of Bosnian and Croatian descent).

They also had to cope with his frequent transfers to different clubs and countries, such as Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, LA Galaxy, and AC Milan again.

They moved together to several cities and adapted to different languages and lifestyles. They also faced some controversies, such as his alleged affairs with other women and his outspoken and controversial personality.

They have two sons, Maximilian and Vincent, born in 2006 and 2008, respectively. They are involved in their children’s education and upbringing and try to give them a normal and stable life.

She quit modelling and acting and focused on her studies and work. She worked for several Swedish companies, such as Malaco Leaf, Hooch, Diesel, and Replay.

She held various positions, such as sales representative, marketing manager, and project manager. She also started her own company, “Helena Seger Business Consulting“, which offers marketing, branding, and management services.
